Currently I pay for my daughters contracts. That ends next month. They want to take it over rather than me just cancelling.
How do I go about doing that? Would l need to get PACs and transfer to other provider then let them switch back?

Currently with 3 and they want to stay with 3.

Worth contacting 3 as to what they say. It may just be a letter from you confirming change of details. If you move provider and move back you would lose you tarriff benefit.

If you just want to change the name, this might be possible but could involve them having to sign a new contract. You could get your PAC to port out to a PAYG network and then get another PAC to let them port back into 3. Their tariffs are always pretty good so check to see what they will offer first if you decide to stay and change name vs. taking out a new contract by porting out and then back in again.

They will be going onto a 12 month sim only plan. £17 per month. It's really only the data they are interested in.

You would have to contact Three and have your daughter present as they would want to credit check her as part of the transfer process. It's probably worth you changing the price plan before doing the transfer, just to keep it uncomplicated.
