    Hi all,

I have a 92" wide 16.9 format DaLite electrol screen which is currently giving good service. The only thing I am annoyed about is the horrendous looking and fragile 3 way switch that gets supplied with it. I have not mounted the existing unit within the wall as it is that deep I would end up demolishing half the wall to fit it in. I currently have it screwed into my patio door wooden frame which is not ideal and is in danger of falling apart and electrocuting the wife the next time she touches it.
    :D  :D

I would like to try and change it for something more robust and sleeker which is easier to hide behind the curtain.

    Anyone got any suggestions

    cheers

    Darren

    Hello Rigman,

I would replace the cheapy switch with this.

As long as you have a pronto and an IR to X10 convertor, should be easy.

When you have an IR to X10 convertor, you can then use the pronto to control lights/lamps as well.

A remote controlled screen, is much more cool than getting out of your chair ;)

If you need a hand with the wiring, it's what I do, and I am not far away at all.

    Good luck,

    Mark.

    Mark,

thanks for that I have a Pronto but not the IR to X10 convertor.

Will look at this in more detail and if I need a hand to set it up I will send you a PM. My wife informs me the switch has just about fell apart (I am away working at the mo)

    cheers

    Darren
