    Difficult to predict. It looks like a lowgrade box, but you never know how well it is built.
    Try it and judge yourself.
    (you could get an even simpler model that does not switch KB but only VGA)

    It doesn't look like it's a powered switchbox. As far as I know it's best to stay away from anything passive as there will be too much signal degredation. It would be best to use a powered switchbox IMHO.

    Can you reccomend any good component switch boxes? my main concern is signal degredation. Would need it to be able to handle 720p & 1080i (Xbox360 etc) but dont want to spend a fortune. Any advice is appreciated as I am new to switches.

    Thx for the posts, i guess the old saying applies "you only get what u pay for"
    but i might try a straight forward Y cable if i can find a good quality one?
    anyone know of any? :thumbsup: Akky
