Had a look today at a Swisstec 32" for £699 at local CO-OP.
Manufactured by Sky media Brochure Here

Reasonably good looking for the price although unfortunately I haven't seen
it working. It was on display minus the detachable speakers.

Had a quick look at the manual : DVI, VGA, Two Scarts plus others I'm not interested in [RF + S-Video I think].

I believe it only has one analog tuner and the DVI doesn't have HDCP.

Anyone got one of these or seen one working?

Had another look at manual which is very poor on input specs.
States that Scarts are for composite signal only! [they only show
    them as suitable for VCR].
Manual advises if you want to connect an RGB set top box you must use
VGA  or DVI. Not much good for Scart Freeview boxes.
Has anyone got one of these? I still haven't seen one in operation.

    :) Hi there

    I got the 42" from Co-op for £999 and I love it.

Haven't a clue what you are talking about socketwise as terminology is not my thing with Televisual equipment; but you seem to be able to do most things with it. It never gets up to do the ironing tho :(

One of my better purchases so far

    regards
    Sea x

scart no1 should take a rgb signal from freeview as its fully wired socket the second scart is half wired which is composite.

Seawitch: Please confirm you have a 42" LCD as Swisstec don't seem to make
one but *do* make a 42" Plasma.
What's the model number of your set?
