Hi all, I just got back from my walking holiday in the Jungfrau region of the Swiss Alps. Absolutely stunning scenery. Anyway, I grabbed this quick snapshot of a Sunflower using my new Panasonic DMC-TZ3 which I though came out pretty well. All I've done is adjusted levels, a touch of sharpening and added borders and signature.

Very nice photo, very colourful. Really like the yellow against the blue sky. Note quite sure if I like the way that the mountain is showing in the background (that might just be me though). You seem to have caught a bee as well in the middle of the head

The flower was facing downwards at an odd angle and I didn't have a lot of time to adjust where the mountain was in the background as I was trying to make sure that I captured the bee too before it buzzed off. As it was just a quick snapshot on a cheapy compact digital camera I was still pretty pleased with the results and it gave me a good opportunity for an entry this month.
