    Hi Guys,

I've just got the Sweetspot SDI capture card and wondered if any users here could post firstly which version of DScaler they find works best but also what their DScaler "video settings" for colour, brightness etc are to give me a good starting point to tweak from. I would be using it with my modded Sky+ box.

    Many thanks,

    Steve

They should be set to Brightness 0 (full luma setting off), Contrast 128, Hue 0 Color 128 Color U 128 and Color V 128.

Many thanks Jeff, I'll give it a go later today. I'm guessing the card selected from the list should be the PMS Video SDI card?

    Thanks,

    Steve

You can select SDI Silk if it's an old version of DScaler, but it shouldn't make any difference.

    Hi Steve
We use the 417p4 build of DScaler, and you can then just select SweetSpot from the menu - useful if you are running a SweetSpot analogue and SweetSpot SDI in the same system.

Also remember that if you install the WDM driver you can record and or network stream the SDI...enjoy!

    Thanks David,

Which option do I choose in the "Sweetspot" DScaler menu as there isn't an option for SDI?

Also, do I need my analogue Sweetspot hooked up still or can I just have the one SDI lead coming from my Sky+ box and disconnect the s-video and scart leads?

    Thanks
