Swapped my camera for a fishing rod of the last couple of days and was rewarded with this 7lb 8oz male Tench, not one of the doubles I was hoping for but a PB all the same.

Hello there

Have always found fishermen a great source off information on such things as wildlife and locations, have had some great chats with them.

Nice catch by the way.:clap:

Cheers Frank:smashin::smashin:

Nice fish Grant - well done but no real sense of "scale" with these shots..... :rolleyes: :D

Sometimes it's good to just put your camera down and get your tackle out.... :devil:

LOL no wonder the neighbours called the police :D I thought I would give the camera a rest for the week after my sheer frustration at NOT getting a clean shot of the two kingfishers we have a Rooksbury. Had seen these big Tench day in day out during my walk arounds so thought I would dust of me tackle and dangle a tiddler in :laugh:

Cheers Holow, fishermen are a lot like photographers some are keen to share their experiences and others are not LOL
