Online, Costco are doing a Swann DVR8-4980 2TB with 6x5MP cameras for £349.89. List-price is £499.99. Mine took 3 days to arrive (not the 15 business days quoted).
In-store their deals are nowhere nearly as good.
I've just checked and a year's online membership is £15 and no qualification is required, so this is still a good deal IMO.

I'd be interested to see some footage to compare. I bought a swann system in 2012 and was very disappointed with the image quality. Other than that it has been rock solid, so if the image quality has drastically improved I wouldn't be against another. I've been waiting for hikvision easy ip 4.0 to come out before upgrading but the hik cost will be significantly more than swann. The question is whether it's worth the extra money?

It looks the same minus 2 cameras, however that website calls it the 4890 whereas 4980 is written on my recorder. BTW the recorder + 4 cameras came in one box and 2 cameras came in a separate box.
