Been trying to get a pic of this chap for months.Unfortunately only had my 70-200 on so couldn't get very close to him.Annoying thing is I'd just taken my tele-converter off the lens.

Nice Swan shots, shame about the Kingfisher, would tweak it a bit though to make the horizon straight.

Would love to get a kingfisher shot - one like that would make my year. :smashin:

...and then I'd also wish I'd got a better one too. :D

What great pics, love the swan ones, don't think I've ever seen a kingfisher without the camera let alone with it, would love to get a shot of one though.

This one has a mate too, seen them both flying together but haven't seen the female on her own.Lots of patience(wait for hours and not even see one of them)and lots of luck as they don't stay still for long.
    Thanks for the comments.

What stunning pictures! I love the kingfisher, i've never seen a wild one before.

The second swan photo too is really beautiful, did you edit the background with anything?

Another one here that would love to get a kingfisher shot.

Swan pictures are very nice and you caught a great pose there. Only thing I would say is they are a tad dark, and need to be lightened up a bit.

I like that the swan ones look a bit dark, improves the atmosphere for me :)

I really like the the details and composition in the feathers in the swan shots and I would kill to get a shot of a kingfisher.
