    I am about to take the svs sub plunge, i am after the PB12-Plus/2, I wanted to find out........would i need any special mains lead for it? as i am not sure myself!

    A normal kettle lead will do fine:)

    (btw there's a dedicated SVS forum now so this will probably be moved).

    I must apologize to Ishanty as I answered an email from him but completely forgot the bit about the lead.

    Every time this question is asked I always answer that I use a lead from an old printer but that I really must get around to buying a proper lead. One of these days I will but my new excuse is that I will wait for a powerbuy from Mark Grant

    thanks for all your help, i've got all the info i now need and it's put my mind to rest!all i have to do is now order it in the next few weeks,does anyone know how much the import tax would be?i'm expecting around £200-£250 and if so it still will be ok and saving much more cash on buying the b&w 750.

    It should cost you about £1,000 all in. SVS will charge you about £800 for the sub and shipping and you will need to pay Bax (the shippers) another £200 on delivery representing the import duty and vat
