Ok so my 19 year old twin boys are home from Uni and not really used to the Pb2+ yet.
They saw I had "Dark Water" dts on the shelf and asked if they could watch it this afternoon. Sure I said, set it going for them and went out.
On my return a couple of hours later I asked if they had enjoyed the film?
One of them gave a sort of chuckle and said "Wow, the elevator scene was probably the most scared/shocked I've ever been, if a camera could have captured our faces they would have been twisted masks!"
Now the film is kind of creepy but the svs puts it into a whole different league, everything you watch is suddenly so intense and dramatic and spine tingly good!
Even bad films are good now!
Well some probably wont be, "Out of Time" was still crap but at least I only rented it!

It's interesting how a good subwoofer makes a film watchable.

I always hated seeing a film more than twice in five years.

And that was once too often!

Now I've actually started collecting DVDs and Videos.

If somebody had said this to me a year ago I would have called them a liar.

What a difference a decent sub makes! :D

Dark Water is a 2002 film from Japanese director Hideo Nakata, who made the original "Ring".
I bought the region 3 from Movietime for next to nothing (about a fiver) and its a good late night watch with the volume up!
