Sofa back to wall,Got front height atmos with svs prime elevation,is it worth doing rear height with svs prime elevation,if so, mounted on the back wall or mounted on the ceiling facing down,(old victorian house so ceiling is very high) or should i not bother because of sofa position

If you really want to add another pair, could you not add them to the side walls and direct them to the rear seats if your seat is so close to the rear wall?

FYI SVS recommends side wall for them in most cases! From their site:

In that second picture, they look very close together. Is that right, one slight behind you and one slightly in front?

Yep it looks like that. Wouldn`t that be correct then as typically if you have .4 atmos system even with overhead channels one pair is slightly in front of listeners and second pair slightly behind, so with same idea. Anyway see the pic below, they would be just like that.

This guy has 10 of them (Prime Elevation) and the last one looks to be slightly behind the listener too. Anyway he clearly has overhead ceiling in front of couch and behind for Atmos and then also the Auro 3D layout. These US guys always go big. Imagine that being normal living room.😅

Looks much bigger distance in person compared to the diagram. This last pic here looks more in line with the sides than anything else.
