    Hi all,

I am planning to buy a SVS subwoofer.
Advice by Tom V was the 20-39 PCi.

But there's this itch that I gotta scratch...and i am opting for the PC+. The option of tuning your subwoofer yourself is just to good to ignore.

But now I have to choose between the 25-31 PC+ or the 20-39 PC+
If I choose the 20 PC+...am I overdoing it to much?
Is there something like TO MUCH subbass?

Hopefully you people can help me out.

No such thing as too much low bass...well maybe there is- it can kill you! :p

But anway, the 20hz model is probably the better version to go for-higher SPL output than the 16hz model, and goes lower than the 25hz model.

Most stuff is around 20hz anyway, so having a subwoofer capable of reproducing 10hz will be pointless. Some DVD's drop to 14-16hz (U-571)

I ordered a 20-39 PC Plus last night so the forum SVS club is growing.

I'm not very good with measurements and told my wife that it was fairly small. Never mind it will have pride of place in my sitting room. If it's too big I will just paint a door on it and pretend that it's a cocktail cabinet

Advice to Tan1415 - go for the pc+ - so easy to set up,has bags of power in reserve, just plug and :D you are not overdoing it in the bass dept`- this thing willl make you a very happy person, the bass is so controlable, and easy to intergrate into any system - Do it!!!!!!!!!!!

    I wonder.

When Tom recommends the PC/CS+ to someone.

Do they then buy the Ultra :D

I'm still saving for the smallest one.

I'll be asking him that question too.
I think NO one ever listens to him. ;)

Can't go wrong going for more rather than less. The PC+ would be suitable for almost anyone with spare money to spare.

I'm quite sure you'll be pleasantly surprised with the authority of bass the SVSub has.

SVSubs render bass notes quite nicely and goes rather deeper than most I've listened (and measured) to. The lists goes from Paradigms PS-1000 to M&K V1250 to REL's Storm 3.

I hope Ian and everyone else new to SVSub experience enjoys his new SVS as much as I did!
