You'll love the PB13 it really is a great sub and produces a nearly flat response in my room with hardly any EQ.

Love it Adam  and it powers my M&K's perfectly :)

Looks like lots of fun all around. Curse my small flat and inability to audition the Fathom F112; there can only be very few people who can actually accomodate one of these beasts as they seem to get bigger in each photo I see!

IIRC you've already got a power amp Adam so don't overlook the Onkyo Pro/Integra processor which looks very nice indeed. :)

Looks great John. Did your mates help you move it in the end? I still have bruises on my arms from shifting it on my own on Monday

I was reading your thoughts on the 905 and you seem impressed, so all in all a pretty good days work I reckon

I'm going for a proper setup on Saturday, but my curve is pretty damn flat just like you found yours. I have the calibration level lower than the fronts (I normally prefer big bass and have a sub set higher), and its still pressurising my room on the gun shots from Drakes Fortune on the PS3.

'Beast' just about sums it up I think :D

Indeed an Arcam P7 but I couldn't wait for the Integra as good as it looks, I am using an onkyo 805 as a Pre-Amp. It really dooes sound good, much warmer than the Rotel Processor but still really detailed, and of course I finally have HD Audio over HDMI and therfore Audyssey too

This PB13 Review bothers me though, how the hell am I going to be able to live with the PB12 once it goes back :(

I know a fat bloke who might help me move it :D

Seriously is it that heavy? I just imagined I would casually push it into place and maybe just pop the PB12 on top for some co-location fun? :)

It is seriously heavy. Worse still, the PB12 is downwards firing so has natural hand holds between the driver and bottom plate. The PB13 is just a 155lb lump with nothing to grip on to.

The last time I grappled with a 155lb lump, she had ample handles to grip on to

If you had a pair that weighed 155lbs each, wouldn't you call that well stacked?

All you need is a small rug to slide the thing around on wooden floors.
If you have fitted carpets then use a bit of vinyl or several layers of DPM polythene.
Pull on the edge of the rug or vinyl to drag heavy objects easily.
My petite wife has always used this technique to rearrange the furniture.
