    Hello everybody,
I have a pb10 which i have been perfectly happy with but it is now time to upgrade to something better. The PB 12 NSD is probably the largest size i would like to accomadate in my living room, i have also considered the SB12 PLUS, my thinking is from reading many posts that i would get better quality base but saccrifice output a little? Is this the same with the smaller Velodyne series also?
I have also looked at the many M&K subs and as some of these can be had cheeper now they look better value.
The speakers i have that the sub will be partnering are M&K 850's (fantastic by the way) i know that they can sound even better with a better quality sub, my budget is around the 5 - 600 mark, guess i could stretch a little more for the right sub ;)
Appreciate any suggestions for my setup :)

The obvious step up is the SVS PB 12-Plus which you should find will go louder, deeper and tighter but if you want to wait a few months until the cylinders are re-introduced to the UK the 20-39 PC Plus will be a good upgrade.

I ran a PB-10 and 20-39 PC Plus side by side for a while and the difference was worth the extra cost

    Thanks very much Ian,
Not knowing much about the cylindars, would the 20 - 39 PC be on par with the PB12 PLUS ie same quality and output in a different shape?

The cylinder and it's equivalent box shaped sub use the same components and according to SVS themselves sound similar.

I am interested i nthe Velos so any info would be good. Looking at the SVSPB12+ also but after having a qauke it isnt easy getting away with the extra 4".

The Velo on the other hand is same size as quake.
