    Hi Guys

I have decided on the well recommended SVS package but I have a WAF problem.

The centre speaker is 20" long and 8.5 inches high which is kind of massive to sit infront of my TV.

So, having ordered the Nexus 10 stands my speakers will be 1m high which reaches the top of the plasma once the speakers are in position.

I would like to know how I can make/purchase a stand that will sit behind the TV with the centre speaker above it, the stand needs to be 1350mm high and strong enough to support the speaker.

    Any thoughts people.

    Thanks

    Dave

Not that it matters much, but the centre is nearer 7" tall and 8" deep.

That's a tall stand and a quick mooch on the net doesn't reveal anything.

Shouldn't be difficult, if you know of someone who works in the steel fabrication trade, as it's a pretty simple job. Just a couple of steel plates and some 1" box section or similar would do the job.

Is it not possible to mount it on a wall, or is the telly too far away to do that?

As for the speaker itself, whilst it big, it's not as big as it sounds.
In fact, it's not that much bigger than a typical AV receiver.
I have mine mounted on the bottom of my AV stand.

    Thanks Steve

I thought about using 2 x lengths of galv metal conduit fixed to plates top and bottom and then I'll spray it black.

I cannot put it on the wall because the TV is to far away.:suicide:

It appears then that I need to fabricate something which does not have to be brilliant as the stand will not be seen behind the TV the net has not given me much to go on.

Oh and by the way, are you stalking me?:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Sounds good to me :smashin:
Seeing as it's behind the telly, it doesn't have to be too mega either, although because of the height, I'd suggest the bottom plate should be reasonably hefty.

    :D

    Thanks

Do you mean buy the bracket to adapt to a stand, as my TV is to far away from a wall for fixing to a wall
