    Hi all,

Has anyone found a way to turn off SVM with the 32CS70? Movie mode doesn't turn it off. I just want to be able to turn it off and get a proper picture, I don't want to have to send it back. :lease:

It is not possible to do this via service menu. You have to go the hard way unplugging the wire from the SVM board. I already did this 4 weeks ago on my KV32CS76E after the instructions given on this site:

It works very well and is reversible (just reconnect the plug). The image is much better now!

    Good luck!

Thanks but I'm not too eager to open the back up an invalidate my warranty. I've got on to powerhouse to attempt to either get a swap or a substitute model. I'm appalled at the picture quality. It's nowhere near as good as my fathers JVC 28" and that was half the price. I'm not impressed by Sony at all at the moment.
