svideo or scart PS2

    I have just brought a svideo cable for my ps2, although i had a scart

    i was was wondering what is better scart or s-video?

    it will be used for dvds only

    any help would be good

    RGB scart is teh best option

    If its only for DVDs then S-video is better otherwise you'll end up with a green screen. :lesson:

    You can use a region X disc to by-pass this though giving you an RGB picture (which is better quality than S-Video)

    I have one for sale btw. Check my 'for sale' thread in the Gaming Classified forum :D

    This isn't just a cheap attempt at a sale btw ;)...its true and I'm sure many members would back this up

    i tend to nitice that when i use s-video the picture seems brighter but then when i use scart its gets darker? n'way i prefer to use scart over s-video actually, but a disadvantage of scart is it shifts the picture to the left leaving a little border on the right hand corner of the screen
