    Hi

Ive got my rears as in fig A and my rear centres as in fig B although theyre about 5-6ft behind the listening position.
Cant say i´ve ever tried the other 2 positions, might give it a go though to see what it sounds like.

    cheers

    I am using option "E". ;)
Similar to "B" but speakers further apart as mounted on brackets on the side walls and slightly toed in.

Used option "A" at my old place, too close and sound wasn't balanced as it depended too much on your position on the sofa.
Later I mounted them below the ceiling (couldn't hang them any deeper due to the beam) like in option "B" where they hang too high and the sound was spreaded out above you. No good.
When I finally moved I ended up with the above layout, yet not perfect as there isn't enought space to the rear between the sofa and the speakers but close(r).

Next time we will get it perfect ... :D
