surround speaker advice

    my sides are 10ft high now im going to redecorate and have the chance to put my back rears at the same height as the sides, is this a good idea or should i leave them at ear level

    The general advice is to have the surround speakers about 30cm above head height when seated. Hence your sides are way too high and your current height for the rears is too low. I would raise the rears by about 30cm and assume you have to keep the sides where they are.
