I have a new TV which is the LG2000

I want to plug in my surround sound speakers.

The speakers are from my pc but have neevr used them before. They consist of a main box with bass box, then 5 satellite ones.

However, I have no idea how to connect to the TV. I presumed (stupidly) it would be like the old out of the headphone socket.

But there is no such socket on the TV (instead a square like shaped hole for the audio out bit.

The speaker input has 2 spaces, centre, front and rear, so I think i need a lead that goes from the TV (square input) into 3 headphone style leads for the 3 holes.

Help please

The speakers are designed to be used with a PC that has a soundcard that decodes the sound and then sends it out in the discrete channels. Your TV will not be able to output a decoded analogue signal so you will not be able to connect your speakers to the TV.
