I've got an SBLive! soundcard and I'm wondering if if I can use surround sound headphones with it.
How do they work? Do they use SPDIF or optical, or generic analogue ports?

I would guess they would use analouge, but If there any good is another matter. I must say th silent cinema on the Yamaha amp is pretty good and directional so it might work.
Just that it's unlikely to be programed to work with headphones, i.e. zero delay between channels where as normal speakers would have some depending on your distance from them. Thus it could be disorenting.
I believe zulman do one, check overclockers.co.uk
