I have my toshiba tv connected to sky by scart, I have set up sky to output rgb and my tv has two enabled rgb scart sockets, sky is attached to scart AV1.

When playing DVD's I get glorious dolby surround sound, however, from sky I simply get stereo, is this normal or have I cocked up somewhere ?

    Thanks

Toshiba should process surround sound from your Sky, is the tv in correct surround mode ?
Have you tried swapping scarts in case it's a faulty lead ?
Is your Sky box set to output stereo in set-up menu ?

    Thanks gringotts,

Tonight I am going to try a new fully wired scart. I have setup the sky box to output stereo and the tosh TV is set on dolby surround.

I guess it can only be the scart,

    Thanks again

    Wayne
