Surround Sound From Sky Digital???

    Good day all,

    I have the following equipment...

    Panasonic Viera 42 plasma (component to dvd recorder & rgb scart to sky box)
    Panasonic DMR E55 dvd recorder (component to plasma & optical to receiver)
    Pioneer VSX C301 av receiver (optical to dvd recorder)
    Thomsan Sky Digi Box (rgb skart to plasma and ??? to sky digi box)

    What is the best way for me to connect the sky box to the av receiver??

    When conected will i hear surround sound on any of the sky channels??

    Do i need the sky box connected to the dvd recorder for recording programs on sky?

    You will need to connect the Sky box to the DVD recorder in order to record from Sky.

    You will get Pro Logic surround only from Sky as whilst they broadcast a few films in Dolby Digital they is only available if you have Sky Plus
