    I just got a Denon 1905 upgrading from a just pro-logic.

I’m using my own amp for the front speakers.

I have set up the test tone for the front, centre, surround, sub, and surround L&R.

I have connected using a coaxial cable to the receiver and I’m playing a DTS dvd but I’m only getting sound from my front speakers and sub. The receiver must be working as it is the only one receiving the sound input also using the volume controlled on it alters the front speakers volume and the sub.

The disply is showing Direct DVD and Digital.

Press the Dolby/DTS button (might be labelled differently) on the Amp or Remote as it sounds like you have it in DIRECT mode rather than a Surround Mode.
