    Hi,
has anyone used M&K Surround 55MkII's as surround back speakers in a 7.1 setup. They are tripole in design and I have these speakers as surrounds in my setup. I am thinking of buying another pair as surround backs.

Anyone tried this or can offer an opinion as to whether these would perform well in this role.

A quick response would be very much appreciated cos they'll not be around for long at the price:D

The general recommendation is to use direct-radiating speakers for the rear channel, which rules out triploes.

I use tripoles (SS150) for sides and rears and it sounds pretty darn good to me:D
