    Hi,

If it has an HDMI input, I think it would be pretty daft of them not to make it 720p/1080i compatible.

I have the 32WL46, it's recent predecessor......without HDMI.....in the manual it states mine will accept Hi Def signals through the component inputs, both 720 and 1080 so I would assume this newer model defininately would.

Only odd thing is the new model has lower rated contrast at 500, mine is 800?

For what it's worth I've been very pleased with my set so far......
