only joined Virgin last july, when i do a speed test from my pc upstairs which is connected to the 5Ghz wireless of my hub which is down stairs it states my connection is up to 160Mbps
when i transfer a file to my NAS which is Ethernet connected to my Hub it was transferring at
10 Mb/s
so i upped the speed in the wireless settings for the 5Ghz to 1.3Gbps
now im getting 16-18 Mb/s which has nearly doubled so i guess is good
would i be better off theoretically speaking going for some 1200 home plugs or will the speed be the same
i know it depends on my network, so i appreciate there's no definitive answer but wondered if anyone has done the same/similar ?
