Just borrowed an Atari STe (which we upgraded to an amazing 4096Mb of RAM!).

Is it me or is Supercars II still just as playable? Quality game, shame the PC/PS2/XBox has nothing as good. (not Micromachines, give me a homing rocket!)

Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge has aged badly though. :thumbsdow

This was indeed a game of pure class. Incidentally does entering the names "wonderland" and "the seer" still give you 99 of everything and a full specced car? I was always a fan of the Homing Missile and Mine combo when racing but my brother preferred the super missile (the rotating job) for "melee" work .

I want to play it now though :(.

i seriously loved super cars 2.

Cant believe you still remember the cheat codes!

Lotus Esprit was fantasic too. Played it recently it certainly has aged. Its amazing how bad some modern day games are compared to the older ones!

Super cars II took up hrs of mine and my friends time. I can still hear the "clank clank" noise of mines being droped in a tunnel :hiya: . Superb fun :) .

I'm just amazed that it's so playable still.

I've tried a number of other games but SC2 seems to have fared the best.

You should try Trackmania, great little game and has that fun gaming feel that reminds me of the old 16-bit days.

No weapons, just racing but well worth getting. Multiplayer is a great laugh

       :D

I used to love supercars2 and recently rediscovered it!

For anyone that want to play now, there's a free Amiga emulator called WinUAE that will run amiga games from windows...a few minutes googling and I was back in the joyous days of Supercars and Paradroid90 (anyone else remember that?)

paradroid was fantastic - a 3d version on x box would be brilliant (like metal arms but with more switching)
