Sunfly Pro-8 Karaoke/DVD Player

How can I put the Sunfly Pro-8 back to factory default settings. I tried the instruction books directions as follows 'simply shut down the unit. While pressing the STOP key on the front panel of the unit, POWER ON the unit. This resets your machine to factory default'. No it doesn't. Help needed fast. Suffering from lack of DVD viewing.
