Can anyone suggest suitable/sensible amps to use with an HTPC system. The HTPC output will be SPDif from a Realtek AC97 Audio (ALC 655) chip.

Am just learning about this stuff so I hope the question makes sense and appreciate any advise that people can give me.

Because most amps will take SPDIF it gives me a huge range of choice, quality and price. I just don't want to over or under spec my amp based on the realtek sound chip that I will be using. As such can anyone suggest something which would be a sensible choice, or should I put in a separate sound card?

    thanks.
