    Hi,

Please could anyone give any suggestions for online retailers of VCR machines. If the estimate to fix mine is ridiculous then it will have to be a new one.

Really just wondering whether I will be able to save a significant amount of money by ordering online, rather than popping down to the high street.

    Thanks,

    Mark.

Thanks for the suggestion, it has certainly made it onto the favourites list.

The Mrs only wants to spend about £50 and seeing as she is the bread winner at the moment, I can't really argue. ;)

However, I found this at it seems like a bit of a deal. Only concern is the fact that it's a clearance product, should this be a worry? It comes with a 12 month gurantee?

    Thanks,

    Mark.

I agree, the Humax would be great. However, it is a bit above current budget and we have just been given a Freeview box (can't say fairer than that!). So it would seem that it is just not quite the right time.

Any thoughts on the VCR link?

    Mark.

Any suggestion for where to buy the Humax? Doesnt seem so common online, and going away from my normal retailers always makes me a bit more hesitant in case there are problems... Found this site which does it for £140:
