My friend is coming from US and I was wondering if I can use him to get some good speaker package.
Any advice would be much appreciated!

You want to make him carry a speaker package? Well, besides the weight, volume and associated hassle did you consider that you (he) will probably be taxed (import duty)?

Thanks. Budget is around £1500 (roughly $2800) for a progressive scan dvd player, receiver and speaker system (subwoofer included).
And yes, my freind has gone on an official visit and hence can utilize around 45 kg of left-over allowance he has. He stays in India and is en-route taking halt in UK, hence i think can get away without getting taxed!
Sorry for replyin late... but I was too busy.
