I've just bought the Samsung UE46D5520 and wonder if anyone has got a good starting point for some settings until it's had some kind of indepth review.

Pretty good panel, bleed in the corners as I expected, but nothing to affect my personal viewing pleasure.

just thought id bring this thread back up as iv just got this tv and was looking for some good settings to get started with ,
only got it yesta, so iknow i have to wait a bit for the tv to settle down ....

thanks

cheers dude ....
id already had them settings ....(found them a few days ago ) thanks :smashin:

but im finding it "too dark" as my room has two fairly big windows at either end .

going to let it settle in for a few days then try the THX optimizer,

will post, if i find anything good !(picture)

but if any else has any good settings please post ....:D

Thx for those settings. I've Bn tweekin loads....it's doin my head in.
I'm running sky hd,n everything looks great, until I switch to the football. The green pitch seems to over power the whole screen.
I tweaked a little last night n hopefully i've nearly got it right????

you could try turning the colour down a bit (i noticed red was over powering )

or try the "tint option" from G50/R50 to G40/R60 or somewhere near that !

Yeah I ended up turning the colour well down. The tint seems to be either to green or to red lol!
