Suddenly black and white

Set up sony kdl46w2000 [pup's nuts]. Connected Sony surround system davs880 via video s cable and its b&w. Tested with other monitor still b&w. Any ideas guys?

Sounds like the davs880 isn't outputting s-video, check in the menus.

If you have not already sorted it. It might be worth checking your lead as one of the wires may have become disconnected. Either swap it, wiggle it or do a continuity check.

Aye, on the X there is an S-vid setting - the s-vid channel is shared by composite.
