On a 5.1 speaker setup, "all small" + sub, since you have many speakers that output the mid range and treble, should the volume of the sub be set higher?? I mean just thinking about the front two speakers, they are getting ( for example) 100w each. So should the sub be 200w? and should the sound level be set to 3db above the fronts? How does this work when you have rear speakers too??

Depends on personal taste. I've balanced all channels including the sub to 85db using the AVIA setup disc. Some people prefer to have the sub a few db higher than the other channels so it's best to just set it to where you prefer. :)
