I have just taken delivery of a nice new Velodyne VX10 (silver which goes well with my KEF eggs!). It replaces the KEF subwoofer that comes with the eggs.

My initial impressions are very good. However, I have been surprised at the effect that changing the sub has had on the system.
To my (very untrained) ears it appears that the stero imaging has improved when I play music.

Am I just hearing things or can changing a subwoofer improve stereo imagin?!?

Of course I am not complaining......:D

    Well, not exactly no.

Have you tried experimenting with crossover frequencies?
Also ..where is your sub placed in relation to the front pairing?
