Noticed my gallo sub is feeling a bit lazy at the moment and doesn't kick in when I switch the amp on ...

Sometimes it takes a change in the sound mode before it works, sometimes it will kick in 15-20 mins through a cd on normal stereo or from another source ...

Its connected through single phono from AV8 ... not sure if its a problem with the sub or a problem with the AV8 ...

    Any ideas ?

    cheers

    Hey there,

I'm not familiar with the gallo sub but most poeple find subs to be more responsive if you get a Y connection for your amp and use both left ad right inputs on the sub... that's assuming there are left and right inputs on the sub.
