and currently testing the mordaunt short premiere package at home and have a small question abou the sub. my amp has a sub pre-out but the sub has left AND right line inputs. will either of these inputs work the same?

It's also got high-level input and satelite terminals to loop these through but am not using these.

    Use either.

Subwoofer manufacturers don't seem to be very good at explaining all of the options in the manuals as my REL QBass also has two inputs which are not mentioned.

As far as i know, the left channel into the sub is the mono input, so that would be the one to use! Can anyone confirm this?!!

    dts_boy,

You are quite right. The left channel is the mono channel and so is the one to use for your sub.
