    Hi All,

I am using JBL LX 2000 Active Subwoofer with an Inbuild D class amp.
The sub has 3 input source ,One for LFE and other two are L and R.
My Receiver RXV 440 has only a LFE out.
Can any one suggest me If I sould use a LFE out and LFE In for connection
or I should connect receiver LFE out and sub's L and R using a Y cable.
I have read in manual that for Dolby Digital & DTS I should use LFe to Lfe and
for Dolby prologic I should use LFE to L and R sub connection.
Since I play both DVD and CD does that mean I need to do both the connections and switch my sub wires every time I change my source?

    Thanks,

    Puneet

A single connection between the LFE out on your receiver and the LFE input on your sub should be sufficient. That is what most of us use

But will that work for stereo music? I'm about to add a sub to my setup and I'm concerned that the sub will only work from 5.1 sources? When the amp is in stero mode, it just doesn't send anything down the lfe channel?
