My amp has a phono output for my sub, but the sub has a left and right. Will a phono to one of them do the job or will I only get half the bass? Do I need a phono to stereo cable?

Just use one of the inputs. Using a splitter and passing the signal to both inputs will increase the signal strength slightly but most of us are content with just a single connection

A RCA connection to either of the two inputs on the sub will be fine :smashin:
