i have pionner amp ds912 with fl standing eltax front speaker power tower include active subwoofer, gale center and mission 71 in the back with 2 small speakers in surround. i am thinking of adding velodyne sub , but then how to connect to amp as there is only one sub output.

would be a lot difference to the system?

    room size is l shape 4.5 m x 6 m.

    please advice.

You would have to sue the sub output from the amp to drive the sub and not the power towers (if thats whats using it at the moment)

I would imagine the bass would be much improved over the eltax (who arnt known for there subs, some great speakers but not subs) with greater depth and slam and less distortion.:D

The Velodyne CHT8 at £188 in the forum powerbuys would seem ideal at £200 max new or you can wait and see what pops up in the classified trading forum.
