    Hi all

Just recieved a Denon 500SD home cinema and when playing DVD's the subtitles pop-up for a few seconds, im pretty sure its on layer change.

I sent the first unit back and the second has the same problem. Any ideas on what could be causing it? Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Im clueless... Anyone with any knowledge or experience of this? Even with other players.

    Thanks!!

Denon A11 used to do this as well, its a case of getting a refund or waiting for a firmware fix to correct the problem which can take time.
When i had the A11 it always chose to stick the subtitles up in japanese?!!
They would stay for 2sec and then go. Very random. somtimes would not happen for weeks.

Ring Denon and give them grief or send back to your supplier and demand action
