Hi, this is my first post in the forums so bear with me. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by asking a question about paying for Sky for a non-UK based box.

I've been taking a look around the "sky in europe" websites, and they all charge a small fortune for the delivery of a card with subscription. I would like to get confirmation that all I need is to:

    1. Call Sky and order a subscription
    2. Provide a UK address for them to deliver the card to
    3. Have a person at this UK address forward me the card
    4. Plug the card into my box and call Sky to activate the card

I'd like to have your opinion on this and also if you have any usefult tips.

    Cheers from Iceland,
    Petur

Be aware that even though sky can not see your number, they can see the country that you are calling from.

    Always use a UK mobile!

Yeah, and don't get drawn into conversations about the weather like my friend in the south of France did (sunny there, raining in the UK)!
