I am in the market for sub. My budget is £250 MAX. Looking for some recommendations
Deff, Mission subs are around this sort of price. However Subs last for ever (unless you are a real nutter) and the investment in one around £400 and upwards will prove to be a better buy in the long run.
Just a thought
Have you considered buying second hand? Should be able to get a lot more for your money, and I am sure that there are loads of people around here that could recommend a decent older sub!
Thank you all for the advice. Can anyone recommend a good second hand SUB
Try looking for any of the REL range you will not be disappointed.
About £300.00?????.....MJ Accoustics....
About £500.00?????.....REL Q150e (class leader)
I too have been looking for a good sub
the REL's are good but have you heard those from new boys MJ Acoustics?
the Pro50 is stunning and around the right price - how they can get that sort of sound from something so small is beyond me
if you give your local Sevenoaks a call they will set it up - well my Norwich branch did
the reviews are coming in thick and fast, with some sound guys saying good things about the Pro50
I am in the industry and for all the hype, from time to time, you get something special arrive. For me, the Pro50 is one such item - mine arrives soon!
the web site is
If subs 'last forever' then I must be a complete nutter.
