Does anybody know how to set up a MS 309i. I've had it for a couple of months but want to set it up properly using the disc that came with it. Instructions were crap so could anyone help

I have the same and will be setting mine up soon.
There are several guides in the sticky section.
Ideally you need an SPL (Sound pressure metre). This will allow you to use the test tones on the CD, measure the values and put them into a graph. This graph has the ideal curve on it and will display your curve. You can then see where you have any issues.
The notch filter on the back is useful but it only allows you to tune one particular frequency.
