I'm searching for sub(s) with my Raidho's X1(+Raidho center and Scansonic surrounds).
Not too big subs because of the WAF, it has to be aesthetically pleasing.
The listening room is not big: 6x3.80x2.50 metres.
I use sub(s) for music and movies. I cannot play very loud so enormous output is not needed.

The Raidho X1's are mini monitors and crossover @100Hz sounds the best.
Because off the high crossover I think 2 subs would be a better option. So localization is not a problem and I can get rid of a nasty null @90Hz(I use REW with an Umik-1 and found the best possible place for 1 sub).
DSP in the sub(s) is not really needed, I have an Antimode Dual Core 2.0.

I did some searching and found: 2x JL Audio Dominion D108(enough oommpphh for movies?) or 1x D110+ 1x D108; Rel T9i+Rel T7i, Rythmik 2xL12 or 1xF12GR+1xL12(-finish is not on par with JL and Rel).
I owned JL Audio and Rythmik subs, but not the ones on my list.
Rel I never owned, I'm not sure how the Rel T's would perform for movies.

So I'm looking for 2 subs, not too big, good permance @100Hz. Any advise/tips?

in that size room i think a 10” subwoofer to give you oommpphh as you put it, the Dominion’s are fast and accurate and can also be used wirelessly if you add the RX/TX unit if that’s needed.

Good build quality as you’d expect from JL Audio with performance to match 👍

Thank you Jason for the tips, I will check them out.

@albriscoe thank you for your advise!
I'm familiar with the F113, F112 and E112, how would you rate the Dominion sound wise(not output) against those subs? 100Hz crossover is no problem?

It’s my belief that all JL Audio subs follow a similar trait in that they all produce clean tight bass, the higher up the range you go the more of it you get

Checked the Kef KC62, don't think that will be an option.
The marketing BS, specs that are incorrect, from Kef is putting me off.

Lyngdorf is not know for their subs, don't know how good their subs are.
I think I will choose subs from a sub specialist.

At the moment doubting between:
2x Rythmik L12 and JL Audio D110+D108.

A pair of Velodyne DD12+ would be amazing.

Have you considered 10 inch Paradigm subs.

I did not, thank you for the tip!
Interesting subs with really good DSP(ARC).
Could make my Antimode Dual Core 2.0 unnecessary.

Anybody who heared the the Paradigm Defiance X10?
I also found that Martin Logan subs have ARC also and are a smaller package.
F.e. the Martin Logan Dynamo 800X.
Somebody with experience with the Martin Logan Dynamo series?

I had a Velodyne DD12 and I find JL Audio(owned F112v1) and Rythmik(owned F12, E15) better (sounding) subs.
The DD12+(heard it once) will be better than the predecessor but in that price bracket I would go blind for JL Audio F110/E110.
Also they are Chinese now('headquarters' in Hamburg, Germany) and I'm very doubtfull about the quality.

I didn't see an £800 budget, apologies if I missed that.

I've heard the DD12+ and they were awesome. The JLs must be something very special if you think they'll "kill them". Specs don't look that different.

Budget is undecided, but unfortenately(new neighbours) I cannot play very loud so I'm looking for good sound quality in a small box for a decent price.

I find JL Audio sound wise more to my liking with music and for movies a simular JL Audio will walk over a Velodyne.
Best bang for the buck brand is imo Rythmik. (Direct)Servo like Velodyne, but sound wise I prefer Rythmik. Finish is decent but not like Velodyne or JL Audio and you have to import them.

Did you import Rythmik or you in the states?

Imported.
But it seems at this moment they are hesitant to ship abroad.
