I have asked before but I didn't get much response so I will ask again (Sorry) does anyone know if blocking the reflex port on my mission sub to stop heavy vibrations will damage the sub or effect the sound.. I am sorry for asking again but I am sure someone clever can help. See my other post for more info.:D

The Mission M73's I had a while back had bungs, think these were to use if the speakers were to close to the wall and the bass was booming, don't know about subs, but would think the port is there to get more bass out of the box, bung the port up and I think you will loose some bass if not all of it depending on it's design, haven't a clue if it would damage it.

Is this an active sub? If it is try adjusting the sub, or if your amp has bass management try different settings this may help.
