I have an AVC-10SE and every time I turn the reciever on or sewitch modes,
There is an unpleasant thump from the sub.
Any ideas if this has an easy fix.

Pretty sure this has come up before and can be remedied by a trip back to Denon. Something internally has gone like a relay or something.

I had this with my last Yamaha amp. I believe in that case it was the muting transistors in the amp had blown, caused by some ******** (namely me) unplugging and plugging cables in the sub out socket. DOH!

    Thanks for the replies.
    I suspected a capacitor.
