I have a KEF sub and two questions.
I am using the line level input.

    1. Does the crossover frequency control have any effect or is it only relevant if using the high level inputs? (I don't think that it should, but just in case I currently have set it to the highest level to let my amp (Denon 2802) control what goes to the sub).

    2. Should I set the level using the sub volume control or the level in the amp config?

    Thanks
    Andy

    Hi

Its best to set the sub crossover to maximum as the amp controls the cutoff frequency.

I have the Low Level volume on my sub set to around a third, others have it halfway or more, and then use the amps SW Channel Level to fine tune it (mines set at -3db now).

For the High level connection the volume is set at about quarter volume.
